Timing (Lug) Belts have teeth to accurately coordinate rotary motion transmission between shafts.
The teeth provide sure grip and often fit pulleys that mate with the teeth for controlled motion transmission. Made from Neoprene rubber or reinforced urethane these timing belts (lug belts), many of which are specific to certain machines, are available for most sewing machines, cloth pullers, and auxiliary devices used with sewing equipment.
